Late last month, I had the opportunity to speak at the University of Akron Wayne College’s twenty-second annual Administrative Professionals Day event. When invited to speak, I jumped at the chance. I have the utmost respect for administrative professionals and firmly believe they’re the glue that holds our organizations together.
I’ve spent my entire life learning to build trust. As I grew up, my mom faced significant mental illness, so I learned first-hand how isolating life can be when trust is absent. Over time, I learned to cope with and, after much healing, eventually overcome these challenges.
